So here's what this boat is all about: fly fishing. Nothing inside for line to snag on. Plenty stable enough to stand and cast from. There are a variety of different propulsion and seating options. You can row from a center thwart like this gentleman is doing. You can have swivel chairs and a trolling motor on the stern that's run by a foot controller. The boat is also good with the new Torqeedo electric motors, which can propel this skiff at full hull speed, about 5 knots.

The boat pictured on this page was built by a gentleman in Texas from our plans. He elected to plank the topsides with a single sheet of ply, rather than go to the work of using lapstrake ply. It works just as well and was quicker for him. However you do it, whether we build or you build, you'll have a lovely boat that's stable, quiet, and looks at home on any water.

Just so you see that both side of the boat look about the same.
